Is it ok to shoot drone photography or video when it is raining or snowing outside?
Drones are designed to be very sturdy and reliable devices for shooting aerial video and photography; however, they do have their limits. Wild winds over 25 miles per hour are not safe for a drone to fly in. Heavy snow and rain can also be detrimental for flying drones. That being said that can still fly in freezing cold temperatures since they do have built in insulated batteries to keep them going.

Should I get drone footage at my wedding?
Drone video footage or photography is a great idea for outdoor weddings! Drones allow for more creative wedding shots and can show the entire wedding venue and all of your wedding guests together! Just remember not use a drone too close to your guests, they can be intrusive and loud when too close, as long as they are at a distance, they can be a great addition to your wedding video and photography!

What is the rental process for drones from The Film Factory?
To rent our DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone you must have a basic or advanced drone license from Transport Canada as well as an Ios or Android smartphone to operate the device.
